In Moon Shot, one of the main characters, Deke Slayton, was ousted from the Mercury Space Program because of his irregular heart rate. If I could ask Slayton three questions, they would be how did it feel to be ousted from the space program, how strong was the bond between members of the space program, and how did you fell about the success of the Russian space program (proud of humanity or angry at rival success)?
