Dusty and his father tell the cops the real story about what happened.

Dusty was saved by Leslie Cries For War. He took him to the hospital and was accused for attempted murder. Dusty doesn't remember anything except for the visions he saw with Chief White Eagle. Chief White Eagle showed him the visions of "The Long Walk." Dusty woke up in a hospital remembering nothing Garrett did to him. Dusty read a newspaper that he saw on the bed. Garrett changed the whole story and accused Leslie

Dusty is driving, and Garrett has to go to the restroom. He tells Dusty to pull over at Stephen's house. Garrett gets out of the car and starts urinating on the tree outside of Stephen's house. Mr. Crazy Arrow comes out and tries to stop him. He gets stabbed with a pocket knife that Garrett had in his pocket. They drive off and decided not go home. Dusty wants to leave but they disagree. They leave him stranded.

Dusty went to work at his fathers grocery store in the morning. He left around noon to meet up with his friends at the parade. They ruined the whole parade by lighting fire crackers & that caused everyone to leave.

Dusty is home and his mother is cooking. Dustys dad comes home and tells him he has to go to work tomorrow. He is angry & leaves to go see his friends.

Its the end of the day on Friday & Dusty is leaving school. Dusty goes to his friend, Jennas, house.
