We have been loving this series as a read aloud! I now love it even more… page 62 “Nory knew who they were— Flicker friends of Clyde’s. Talon was a short boy. Rainey was a tall non-binary kid.” Then later in the chapter Rainey is referred to using they/them pronouns.

This sparked a great and simple conversation with my kiddos!
