HAHAH yes!! exactly!! i love how in (in)accurate my currently reading shelf can be. like oh yeah im really going at it. im currently. reading. *wink wink* sometimes i affectionately name it my currently (d)reading shelf 😂😂 but only sometimes...😌

Omg (d)reading shelf is wonderful, love your naming sense! 🤣 If I haven't gotten too far yet, I usually just pop it back in my tbr and pretend like nothing transpired (literally happened to me today lol), but yup, most of the time it's just a matter of getting back into the mood to read it again. Which happens when it happens. Eventually. Someday. 🙈 Sending book conquering vibes your way! We got this!! 😆

106 chapters... at 30 minutes each chapter?! Alyssa, I don't blame you at all. My poor attention span could NEVER. Good luck with it though, and hopefully it's worth it!

@Candy - WEBNOVELS MAN 😩 I wish they could trick my brain by splitting it into parts like they do when printing the physical books, but at this point I’m just going entirely by chapter number and it’s a little discouraging, hence the lack of progress 😂 But thank you so much, Candy! 😊 Really enjoying the both comedic & creepy atmosphere and how the author blends the two!

Ok but that's so real! I'll read 6000+ pages combined from a series, but make a standalone more than 400 and suddenly I'm side-eyeing it lol. I think the lack of breaks is probably what deters me from picking longer books usually (at least in the romance genre, since I tend to be a lot more open to longer books in other genres). I'm sure it will be worth it in the end... whenever it is that you finish it lol.

Come on author, you gotta work with me here 😂 It honestly feels like the romance is getting dragged out for centuries and I'm living off of petty scraps, but a girl's gotta do what she gotta do to see her ship sail in the end 😌 Praying to the reading gods that I finish before 2022 😅🙏
