I sadly wasn’t able to catch up to Indirection in time for GRL, but if any friends will be there this week, you must let me know! This will be my first year attending, and I’m buzzing to infinity and beyond knowing some of my favorite authors - Gregory Ashe, C.S. Poe, Nicky James, the list goes on! - will be there as well. Now let’s hope things don’t take a suspiciously Indirection-esque hue (of murder!) 😂

i was approved in the morning, but for what felt like an eternity, i could only stare at the cover under “My Books” with no way of accessing the arc 🤣 but at last, the “Send to Kindle” button has been restored!! thank the heavens bc i’m so ready to cry 😌

HSIWJXJWJSJD THE BOOK GODS BE GOOD!!! my first arc approval for the series and it’s this long-awaited final installment! if this isn’t a sign that everything’s coming up milhouse, i don’t know what is 🥹

i don't know if anyone else is facing this problem, but GR simply refuses to keep me signed in. whether it be clicking on a book on my feed, refreshing a tab, or posting a review, 9 times out of 10 the system logs me out. leave me be please - i've had to login more this past week than i've had to during my account's entire existence 😭

starts off with a promising prologue but then chapter 1 switches povs and the internal dialogue goes a little something like this:

“It wasn’t the size of the engine in the car. It was the size of the engine in the man. My engine? It was so big it was limited edition.” 😎

i don’t know which summoning ritual did it, but i was blessed with an arc!! i am both honored and incredibly thankful as these past few weeks have been utter havoc and i’m in dire need of some good ol’ escapism 🙏🏼 in other news, a publisher that translates eng m/m to cn keeps teasing that they’re going to work on this series soon, and i have never been more motivated in my language studies 🤣
