Tried to start this series since I saw it’s on audio… didn’t like the narrator so haven’t taken the plunge.. can’t wait to see what you think!!

@Kaity - I couldn’t agree with you more on the audio, why did he choose such unpleasant voices for the mcs? Malcolm sounds like he has a frog in his throat and has to compensate by going all harsh and raspy, while Seong-Jae is an emotionless robot 🤖 This is Tantor, right? What happened to our tried-and-true narrators when they were casting for this series? 😭

@alyssa, totally! they had a pool of amazing narrators and to ruin a huge series that had double digits worth of books with a narrator that’s isn’t good is such a waste! Haha hope this go around works better for you!

@Kaity - Yeahhh maybe everyone else was booked to the gills and couldn’t dedicate the time for such a long series, but at the same time, I’m surprised no one listened to an audio sample without wincing 🤔 I’ll see if I can grow accustomed to it, but reading with my eyes might be the only solution, even though I’m feeling extra lazy lately 🤣
