This is not improving. Still a lot of info-dumping... The MCs are inconsistent within the same chapter they think "I can't stand you", "I want to shag you", "I like you". They are "young" but still. We still don't know what happened to Ryan and honestly I'm not sure I care... I wish I DNFed and still might because this is putting me in a slump

I seriously need to learn to DNF. This is not working yet. The beginning was confusing info-dumping/exposition, Ryan has no redeeming qualities yet. Why is Luke so adamant that they be friends or are friends (I did not see the friendship yet but apparently it's a thing). I'm confused

This is what I’ve found from the last few of this authors books. It makes me sad bc I really enjoyed two of hers and have yet to enjoy any others. 😭

We have a lot of emotional moments that happen off page and are then summarize (which is tantamount to info-dumping to me) so yeah not working and heading for a 1star

@Agla, I'm sorry, it was such a bad reading experience for you. I struggled with the first half and considered DNFing but surprisingly loved the 2nd half and hoped it will get better for you as well. If I'm not mistaken Ryan moved to NY because of his boyfriend and porno started from OnlyFans videos. You have a point about Ryan/Luke sex life, I just haven't thought about it 😞Hope your next book is much more enjoyable!
