I really hope this doesn’t turn into Welcome to Your Authentic Indian Experience power struggles because that story is horrifyingly unpleasant.

This is going to be a slow read. Gradual pace so far (with too much exposition in a few places) and dreary subject matter mean I’ll likely pick it up sparingly.
