DNF page 68 ~ the matriarch of this family is just plain mean and unlikeable and other characters just seem like caricatures. I have liked other Susan Mallory books so much more 😢

Oh my… I haven’t read any of S. Mallory’s books. I’ll add a few to my to read list. Thanks for the warning on this one. I won’t hesitate to abandon if it goes in the same direction as what you felt.
