Tommy Davis was an amazing hitter for the Los Angeles Dodgers. He got the most runs batted in award in 1962 when he got the all time record. For instance, in the text it said, "No major leaguer has driven in 150 or more runs since Davis did in in 1962." (115) This shows that Davis is an amazing hitter because he drove in so many runs and broke the all time record.

The San Francisco Giants moved to San Francisco in 1962. They moved from New York in the middle of the baseball season. Since it was in the middle of the season the job to build a stadium in San Francisco was rushed. There were many problems including the fact that you had to climb a steep hill to get to the stadium. In the text it said, "By the summer of '62, six or more fans had felled by heart attacks." (25)

The San Francisco Giants were new to California and they moved from New York in the middle of the baseball season. Which meant that the stadium being built in San Francisco was rushed. Many problems occurred once the fans started coming in. In the text it said, "Bye the summer of '62, six more fans had been felled by heart attacks." This shows that the stadium was too steep and many fell to their death.

In the 1960's Los Angeles was a very populated city. People all over Los Angles were struggling toi get to work each day for one reason. They did not have enough cars in LOS Angles. In the text it said, "there were four million cars serving seven million people, and LA was the only major metro area." This shows that Los Angles was overcrowded and they could't even make enough cars for it.
