This is a fun bit of escapism but I CANNOT believe how many weird, obvious typos there are in this book. (‘Workgy’, anyone? How about ‘apoca-lypse’? ‘Know-ledge’?) It’s getting distracting. Also, one of the quotes at the beginning of a chapter is misattributed. These things are annoying and they take me away from the story.

Tamara I couldn’t really remember what annoyed me about it but this was probably one of the things!

Nat I bet it was! I’d say I’ve counted about seven typos so far. I’m enjoying the story and the different perspective on ‘Euan’ and Wigtown, but the writing is definitely a little clunky. Eg, I take issue with the adverb ‘chillily’. There are no circumstances which justify the use of that word!
