Perhaps it is because of all the buildup from the first book, this book was significantly much more enjoyable than the first one. I am already thinking of giving it 5 stars. It’s truly magical and sucks me into Kvothe’s world easily whenever I open the book. The language is easy to read yet is not overly simplified, and the story just keeps getting better. I love the new arcs and dramas.
