I may have finally broken out of the center of this labyrinth and am moving on the outward spiral, now. Whew! Fascinating stuff!

There is something very weird going on as I read this book, and given the topics in this book, it's both weirder and completely expected. For example, I've apparently been reading steadily for several days but I'm always between pages 77 - 145. This edition claims to have 344 pages in it on GR, but the actual book has 283, including references and footnotes. Cue "Twilight Zone" music, please.

VERY interesting, still, with much science, many stories, and great connections being made. I keep wishing she knew more about Buddhism and newer tech and science, though, since recent discoveries would greatly have changed what she writes about. Wait a minute: she SHOULD have known... LOL

Still really liking the info in this, although, again, I could do with the Christian theology overlay to everything. Why oh why? There is a perfectly good explanation of Buddhism and its science of mind in several places here, but neither this author nor the people she interviews seem knowledgeable about that at all. kind of sad, really. They go so far, but not far enough....

Someone should have given me this book when it first came out (1998). This explains a lot! Thanks, Cynthia Sue Larson, for the recommendation!
