Figured out why I'm feeling disconnected from this book- the heroine is too bitter and hard. I feel her pain but that's all. Oh and not feeling any chemistry between the h/H. There's good dialogue.

Heroine is 33...I like heroines to be much younger. I'm in my early 40s and don't want to read about heroines in or near my age range.

Not a fan of the heroine with a tortured past. A nun to be is supposed to embrace forgiveness and the heroine still holding a grudge against the hero! Fake much.
