this started with promise, but for the last little while it has been failing to capture my attention in any way. i don't buy into the characters' motivations for anything and i'm a liiiiiiittle bored tbh.

going to give it at least until 35% before i give up.

it's picked up, thankfully, though there are still several holes in the plot/writing...

one thing i will say: i usually hate when there's a random third pov in a romance, but i'm actually not minding this one? probably because it's consistent, and he feels like an actual third main character, not just a random pov we get every now and then.
