I finished this, but I don’t get it. I’m not a lover of this book, but so many people raved about it. That kept me reading to the end. And I still don’t get it. It’s the literary equivalent of the shaky camera filming that became popular in the 90s. I had to reread many paragraphs to figure out what was happening. It just. The sense of it. Outlaws in a community. Not my favorite summer read.
