Reading Sandra’s meditating on corn and thinking too of what Robin Wall Kimmerer wrote about the 3 sisters. Have never tried blue corn before and really wish I could find it here now...hmmm...I wonder.
Love the practices she goes on to talk about and enjoyed how much one of them reminded me of Sadhguru’s 1st body practice
Really really want to replace my long-gone goldfish plants and try for vegetables and herbs

Ah Bear, part 2. This was beautiful shattering onward summoning. Before the practice she ends with a thought I could wish for but have trouble believing right now: “I believe that as a collective, humanity is entering a new phase of an initiation process. There will be a death of an old way of living replaced by actions that honor the Earth and all of life.”

Have to admit, I liked the earthworm chapter today over the banana slug chapter yesterday. Amazing creatures

Sadhguru talked about bliss - this chapter felt like bliss to me today: “Earth Goddess Nunkui”, active in the night, in dreams and awakenings, in renewing life, in seeing the intense love shown in grief, in singing life and nourishment to green things. “To restore status we care for the earth and strive to live in balance and engage her mystery. Deep trust returns to us as we do.”

Nice to return to. Read a 1/2 chapter - thinking might continue this way instead of while chapter at once, especially since they’re divided between the 2 authors
