I gotta pause this one. It's just so damn long.

I also love the short vignette Ellmann started the novel with. It was beautifully written-- albeit a page and a half long-- and it really just showed that Ellman is an extremely good writer. She did not choose stream of consciousness bc she couldn't write a normal book-- she chose it because she could and is talented enough to pull it off.
