hysterically funny, dystopian, political thriller. Reminds me a little of Carl Carl Hiaasen. It opens with an immoral property developer, the brother of a dodgy Aussie PM, on a bender in his latest beachside white-elephant development, facing bankruptcy, while the resort building he's in, crumbles around him in by being battered by a Qld Cyclonic sea surge. Good opening.
