Now Leilong is a library bus! He takes books to every corner of the city. Wherever he goes, children and grownups are waiting for him. Everyone can choose a book.

"He only wanted to hear the story," the librarian says.
"But a dinosaur is too big," says the manager.
Or... maybe the library is too small.

The library manager races upstairs.
He looks at Leilong. He sees the mess.
"Dinosaurs are too big and boisterous for libraries!" he says. "And besides, you don't have a library card!"
"But Leilong's not dangerous," says Max.
"He was caught up in the story."
"He forgets how big he is," adds Mo.
The manager shakes his head. "That's my point. And rules are rules."

He pulls himself up and peers in through the library window. He hears the storyteller reading aloud: "What big eyes you have, Grandma!"
The children shout back: "All the better to see you with, my dear!"

The librarian rushes out. "I'm sorry, you're too big and boisterous for the library. Besides, you need a card. That's the rule."


I thought it was pretty standard that you could go into the library without a card, you just couldn't use the computers or borrow anything without one?

Maggie tells Leilong about the special rules in the library.
"There's no running around," says Max.
"You have to be calm," Mo adds, "so you don't disturb other people."
