I don’t know you Angela but i started following you because i liked your reviews and you read the same kind of books that i did. I too write many reviews and have been told they are too long by friends. The truth is i write the reviews mostly for myself because i read so many books and start more than i finish that i cannot remember what i have read until i go back and read my review. I have many people ask me for recommendations and without Goodread i would not know what to tell them.

Plus it doesn’t help that many many authors are using VERY SIMILAR TITLES , not to mention the book covers.

I think you should continue to write your reviews the way you want to. Your friend. Well he/she can decide not to read them or not.

Jojo, thanks for your comment. I probably should have clearer in my update . I decided to stop writing reviews because it’s just too time consuming. I’d rather have the extra time to read and do other things. It became too much of a chore . I loved writing them because it gave me a way to really think about what a book meant for me, but I no longer want to take the time. I will continue to rate the books I read and for some write s few words . Thanks again for commenting. Happy reading !
