The Papua New Guinea bit is pretty interesting.

I bought this book because I was researching Siberia for a book on my own. I was a little disappointed that the Siberia section was over by 27%, but its still interesting reading. I spotted one minor factual error about Japan (feeling smug, haha) because I've lived there for the last ten years, but otherwise its pretty good. Wish he'd ease off on the Christianity stuff, though. I really don't care.
