I got this book many years ago not knowing anything about it besides thinking the title and cover was interesting. Read a few pages and then put it down. Then as I got back into my reading grind this year I decided to pick this book back up. I was extremely mad at myself for letting this book sit on my shelf for so long. It’s soul destroying for sure. I had put it down many times midway through reading because I could almost physically feel the pain and the emotional distress was intense. But it’s also a book that I will never stop thinking about. The effect it had on me was tremendous. I hope you manage to push through! It’s worth it.

Ahh thank you the encouragement! I love the writing and the characters but yeah each time I’ve picked it up it’s been very hard to push through because of certain scenes and descriptions.. I’ll try my best to push through!
