Oof, okay, so admittedly it's taken me a while to truly get into this book but damn. I just ... *holds golden eagle baby close* I feel some crushing heartache coming for my boi (again!) and I am not ready :')

- Spoiler?? - Btw can we talk about Mustang crying about Pax growing up w/o a father if Darrow returns to war and may not return? When she did the exact same thing? Even better, she left Pax to go back to war when he was a literal infant and needed her the most. Certainly more than a 10-year-old needs an already absent father. I know the world ain't ready to talk about shit mothers but the audacity of this woman.

Oof, I still have so many feels for Darrow and Victra. I just don't vibe with Virginia :'D Never have lol sry
