ch 38 dusk is one of the most beautiful pages of writing ever. to me. i love you starbuck

OKAY. finished my reread of moby dick and all i can say is that i genuinely believe this is one of the best or at least most personally meaningful/designed to make me specifically go crazy books i've ever read. i simply adore melville's style & his symbols & his characters & his everything (even if he uses way too many semicolons) ! this book. this BOOK!!

in other words: if you need me i'll be crying over moby dick
