the scene between Jerry and this Dr Fell is a very creepy, scary moment in story has all the elements of suspenseful horror....like Hansel and Gretel or The three Billy-Goats Gruff, that troll still is the creepiest thing ever, but children's stories Right? The wolf in Peter and The Wolf was scary and when its killed at the end it's corpse is taken away on a spit. This story harken these old stories in a new way.

I like how the ominous, yet siren song of the play structure evolves, its almost like a premonition of addiction or what can happen to society like experimenting with rats. I want to say more about this doctor Fell but I don't want to ruin story for others. He is a scary mage.

the doctor appointment and the obsession with the playhouse and jungle gym by the children is fascinating. kids always want to get advantage over their parents and see what is populat no matter what it is. Dr Fell is very witchy to me and I don't trust him. Reminds me of professor Harold Hill and
