I'm not sure how I feel about this book. I think I'll enjoy the romance, but I have a hard time believing the king's response to his older daughter physically abusing his younger daughter. On one hand he thinks it's serious enough to send Iona away and hide her, yet he doesn't believe the threats she makes against Iona? I hope they share a reason why the parents allow the abuse and she doesn't think they are awful.

Did you end up finishing the book? All of my questions were answered by the end of the book and I was satisfied.
I didn’t finish it. You think it was worth it?
I do. Everything made sense by the end. Everything the sister, dad, mom, and even her cousin did made sense by the end. I really did end up enjoying the book.
Good to know. I will give it another chance.
