I am probably hate-finishing this. Not a good thing to do, but I’ve abandoned the last three books I picked up so….
I wish this story was told by a better writer. The writing is repetitive and explicit when it doesn’t need to be, and oblivious in other areas. There’s no room for the reader except when I said, “really?” and “Marisol is in her 30’s, are we sure?” And further facepalming.
