I'm in a real book slump. I can't remember the last time I DNF'd 3 books in a row. I need some real alpha energy that isn't a mafia or MC book. Or I need a great shifter book with a growly, dirty talking MC that isn't omegaverse. Or maybe I need something totally different. I don't know.

I've just finished a binge read of Regency/Victorian romances - in paperback; but my ebook/Kindle reads have recently been duds too. Whether it's because of my normal dislike for contemporary stuff or not, I don't know. Sometimes the writing is just boring, or same-old same-old. Even some shifter novels have left me cold. I have a huge TBR pile so I'm sure I can find something to enjoy! Hope you do too!!

Have you read MAGICIAN by KL NOONE? I’m just halfway through, it’s a bit whimsical, but a breath of fresh air. Like an enchanted detour from the usual fair.
