PLEASE this was me during my summer semester. i read almost half a book during my class because the class was 2 hours long 😭 the class wasn’t boring though the book was just really good.

I haven't had much time to read lately but this had me engaged from the get go. Maybe it's a mood thing? It isn't Nicky James best, but I still find it enjoyable. Secrets & Lies and End Scene still outsold though.

80% of my classes right now are just us reading our exams and assignments out loud while the professors grimace 😂 so reading is definitely a better prospect! I wouldn't consider this an excellent book by any standard, but it's still fun!

I got to the second club scene (when Kai was leaving on his own) and THE WAY HE REACTED. I lost count of how many dialogues I've been highlighting lol. It's definitely a highlight for me!!

Glad to see you loved it that much, Candy 🧡 I think Nicky James is one of the best authors in the taboo genre. There’s always much more to her books than just the smut (though you won’t hear me complain about that either 🤭🤗) Hope your notes turned out all right in the end 💕

If you want more taboo with an extra side of wtf then give Twisted Together a try too! I bought it on a Smashword sale and it was... 😳 very enlightening 🥵 Has a lot of OTT and noncon though so beware. Hope you like Sinfully mine too on a second read!

HAHAHA I LOVE THATTTTT!🤭 this book made me feel so much too in terms of the angst and like i loved the sex, the feels, the jealousy ugh i had a great time. 🥰🤗 typed this in the dark and it took 100 years HAHAHA but i did ittt! queen of not being able to sleep tonight because she was too hot from being sunburn😭🤣

I had to put the book down (regretfully) due to them, but I'm definitely having a good time with it. Not my favorite by the author, personally, but I'm still loving the taboo-ness of it all 😏 And Nicky James has to be my favorite author so far! I really enjoy A.T Brennan too (author of Forever Ours) and then Honey London (I'm sure you read it by now but Call Me Daddy reminded me of End Scene a lot).

So valid! Why worry about things that might have actual real-life consequences... when you can just get lost in fictional worlds instead? lol, at least I have plenty of notes already to pull through. I don't think I'm doing too bad, everything consider :P

I'm glad you said it's engaging, even after comparing it to Secrets & Lies. And if you say the smut is hot then it must really deliver. I might be tempted to look into it if it ever goes on sale.

I bought it in a Smashword sale, so I definitely recommend waiting for another one. They tend to have them pretty often too. And the smut on Secrets & Lies is on a different level, plus the way they call each other dad and son in bed 😌 but this one is pretty fun too, except some niggles so far.

I've already read Secrets & Lies so I know what that smut is like, next level stuff. But girl reading that made me question so many things...

I'm open to all kinda of morally bankrupt things in fiction, so as long as the story is solid I can get behind them. It's all about divorcing it from reality! But then again, as long as those types of couples don't have kids —which already isn't a risk in MM— I wouldn't care. I find it yikes irl but to each their own 🤷‍♀️
