Zweite Lesung. Ich habe mir jetzt den zweiten Band gekauft und lese daher den ersten noch mal. Immer noch episch wie diese Fiktive Welt beschrieben ist.

Still great. It's like the Beowulf Saga. More fighting than anything. A bit magic and so many beasts and bastards. I never imagined how a troll looks like. But I thought there are many different in Norse mythology. Stone Trolls, tree trolls, water trolls. But these with horns and big eggs are looking more than the Greek Minotaur.

I'm reading and I hope that there will be in the next book a description of all these strange Norwegian tools, clothes and weapons. I now found out what a scramasaxe is and that the pronounciation in in the back on "saxe" and its like a dagger or a short sword. Not a axe. Smile. Also other words are hard to read. Fun that I tried to learn Norwegian some 30 years ago and some of the pronounciations came back.

Still bloody and I have translate some of the Norwegian words.

It's still great. What I would need where a picture book for all the norsk weapons which are been described in the book.
I my opinion great written. Just 100 pages in the book an I feel like beeing on a roller coaster.
I have to think hard to find a book I've read the last years where I was so impressed about the wording and the pictures described. Also a compliment to the translation of Wolfgang Thon.
