From what I have come to understand by reading chapters on the division of labor is that the popular stress on 'invisible hand' theory is quite exaggerated. He does provide a very visible explanation of how people 'make' the economy work.

Also, Adam does one great thing for his readers: he explains his theses in the chapter headings. Thanks, Adam.
