Not a big fan of how Rhys’ thoughts when she saw them was the same way hers are. As if they were to think alike. Why would he conveniently think of all these memories when dealing with the A, for her to experience them after. It didn’t feel natural at all. Just like a way for the writer to press in some information.

I do like the pace of how their relationship develops though. But I liked that with Tamlin, too.

I do appreciate the focus on smell. In the last it was more colours, now that she’s lost her sense for colours, she’s focussing on smells. The jasmine scent of the court. The cinnamon and citrus smell of Mor.

I’m glad Rhys keeps saving the days. His first appearance here was sheer beauty. I appreciate him fully.
Her sinking into depression and spring turning to poison… what a loss. What a mess.

She continues to be a brat. It’s been a few months and Tamlin is over protective… okay. But she has an eternity now, what’s a few months.
At the day of the wedding she’s so annoying too. Going on about how she’s a murderer and liar and everyone must think so, while a few pages prior she heard how they just kill each other over not having taxes ready. How *cruel* fairies can be. She’s being ridiculous.

So she’s flushing the toilet. I thought this was some medieval type old world. But lo, there’s toilet bowls and flushing mechanisms? Huh. Did we time travel?

I know she went through trauma, but suddenly (ch2) she seems a little… ungrateful of experiencing fae festivities, when she barely could stay away in #1, and neither is she interested in fae history while she seemed way curious about absolutely everything fae.
