ok, almost done; still gross; getting better. I said this was probably the last Palahniuk book that I was going to read, but then I read an article about "Guts" and how people have fainted because it's so abhorrently repugnant and somehow this has caused me to want to read it.

This is the longest I've ever taken to read a book in my entire life. I've taken to reading a chapter or two about once a day, maybe every other. I have to admit that I didn't like it for a while, but new information has come to light that has piqued my interest I continue reading. I've only got 80 or so pages to go. Longest short book ever.

Im getting a little sick of Palahniuks repetitive style, sometimes I feel like I'm reading the same book with different names and settings. There are funny parts strewn about, and I am liking the story more as I press on, but I think this will be my last Palaniuk book.
