I am finally back on track writing this concluding book for my zombie trilogy, Dead Soil. A lot is happening right now as different beloved members of the group get split up and run into trouble. Some are stepping up to the challenge of rescuing others while some are trying only to protect themselves. Everyone reacts so differently when under pressure. I can't imagine being in their shoes and facing a zombie.

I squeezed in quite a bit of reading time today. About 88 pages in and the crap is already hitting the fan. Each group has their mission and is out trying to fulfill it while staying alive; Zac and Christine need to find some fresh zombies to help the scientists develop the cure...Lee, Imani, Luke, and Svend are on the hunt for antibiotics and Carolyn is trying to figure out why people keep disappearing at the bunker

Life has gotten in the way of writing so bad these last few weeks. I try to squeeze it in here and there when I have time, but I'm beginning to think I might not have this ready before Halloween like I planned. Which kind of stinks. Zombie Halloween stories are my jam! Maybe in the weeks coming up I can power through it with some great inspiration and genius haha

You know it's good when you get chills from your own writing. Oddly enough, it's not the zombies that are giving me the heebeejeebees right now. Sometimes humans can be the biggest monsters out there.

Wow, I can't believe I'm already a quarter of the way done with this story. I put a lot of time into making the detailed outline so it's just flowing out of me so easy right now. Christine and Zack are at the medical research facility trying to get them to take Liam's scientific journal seriously. The others are at the bunker dealing with the tragedy that struck at the end of Dead Road (#2). It's so exciting!
