This book is very bad, but it's so short I feel like I have to finish it. It started off giving me Terry Pratchett vibes, but now it's lists of a bunch of alien species Valente has invented, and she can good at this stuff when it's useful to the story, like all the worlds she invented in Fairyland, but this is just...lists. The story itself is moving glacially. It's very upsetting.
