Yeahhhh … I’m not going to enjoy this. It came so highly recommended by everyone too! But it reads like a generic school YA novel with a mysterious time period that doesn’t match the dialogue, over explains everything as if the reader doesn’t understand anything that’s not explicitly stated, and already tries so hard to be edgy it’s ridiculous. Why does everyone online hype these types of books??
