I’ve been slowly working my way through this. I have a question. Can I make the Lithuanian Coffee Bread using Apple butter for all but 2T of the butter?

The recipe on this page is Sweet Potato Bread. Above the recipe it says "Cinnamon or nutmeg may be adjusted to taste..." but neither are listed in the recipe. How much of either are recommended?
