This page includes the ingredients for Sunday Chicken & Dressing. One of them is “4 cups herb-seasoned stuffing.” Is this supposed to be stuffing mix or already prepared stuffing?

Chicken & Tomatillo Sauce

In the ingredients it lists “3/4 cups garbanzo beans”. Are they dry? After the chicken is cooked with sautéed onions & garlic, can of green chilies, ground coriander, 14 oz tomatillos, salt and pepper on the SOUP/STEW setting, I’m to remove the chicken, add rice & the garbanzo beans then cook that on the STEAM setting. Do you think that the garbanzo beans will be done?

I started this over a month ago!

On this page is a recipe for NORMA’S MACARONI AND CHEESE. The directions start “Place the pasta (ingredients lists 1# elbow pasta) & water (ingredients lists 4 cups) into the inner pot….”
After the cooking time is complete the directions tell me to “Use a wooden spoon to break apart the macaroni, scraping up the bottom of the pot & mixing the remaining water into the pasta.” What remaining water?

Is this cola bread really supposed to be made without salt?

Tried making the Rice Bread on this page. Made 3 times with different kinds of rice, white, brown & wild. I made the medium loaf with the white rice, that was ok. Since there was a lot of room in the bread pan, I used the large recipe for the brown & wild rice. The brown rice was really flat on top, but tasted great. Th

I’m about half way through & haven’t figured out what the story is. It’s like things are still being set up. It’s due back to the library & I’m not going to bother renewing it. There are better things to read

I’ve been slowly working my way through this. I have a question. Can I make the Lithuanian Coffee Bread using Apple butter for all but 2T of the butter?

I’m confused! In the directions it says to chop the truffles & cook up with the Madeira wine, port wine, cognac, & truffle oil. BUT I Don’t see truffles in the ingredients! There is “1 SMALL JAR MARINATED TRUFFLE OIL (APPROX 1 OZ) listed, but is that supposed to be the truffles? Where would I get such a thing? I’ve tried Walmart, Amazon, & eBay to no avail

The recipe for three-cheese Lasagna Bake is on this page. Part of the directions is to Spray an 8" x 8" baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. This is supposed to go in the instant pot eventually. Before I went to the store to get one, I measured the inside of my instant pot, it's 8.5". Corner to corner this baking dish won't fit in the Instant pot! I used a round pan, but didn't have room for all the stuff!

I've finished the book. Didn't understand most of it! Between the Latin & the words that the online dictionary can't give me a definition for, it's pretty lousy. However, There's notations in the back that give explanations for things. The first one is that Mrs Browning wore a ring like this. Hmmm. Wonder if this will make it more interesting...

Finished chapter IX of "The Ring & the Book". I think it's written in legalese, perhaps I'll get my lawyer to figure out what it says!

Wow! What can I say? It might be easy if your instant pot has a poultry setting (mine doesn't), & if you've never used it, but when it says, "Close lid & set steam release to Sealing, then press Poultry & cook for the default time," I'm at a loss! Any idea what I'm supposed to do?

Finished Chapter VIII of "The Ring & the Book!
Finally! So far this was the hardest chapter to read, not only was there rambling English, but most of it gets translated into Latin! How this could ever have been anyone's favorite book I'll never know. ..well maybe at the end?

Finished Chapter VII. Pompilia. This chapter tells the story of what happened from the young girl's point of view. This is a really sad story, especially since it's given as she's dying.

Finished Volume I! So far have read testimony from the husband (accused of murder) & the priest (who tried to save the wife)...reminds me of testimony from the OJ trial a couple hundred years ago in verse! Or did I say that already? Taking a break

Going to read some of "The Book and the Ring" before I start BOOK IV "Which Treats Especially of the Sacrament of the Altar"

When he talks about people's attitudes toward the saints, I need to remember that the writer was Catholic!

The page #s started over again. The bookmark says I'm on section 2 somehow, page 1 of 170! It changed in the middle of a sentence!

I'm reading part V. Count Guido Franceschini. I think this is his testimony in the trial. So far he's telling how hard his life has been. He has a very respected name but no money, & life is terrible.

I started reading a different publication, more modern version. (The renewals ran out for the other one.) The references don't seem to make sense in this one. I've requested the other one again, so I'm going to take a break from this

Made it to Section V "COUNT GUIDO FRANCESCHINI." - The Ring and the Book by Robert Browning.

This is l like reading the trial of a mass murderer who used a knife to murder his wife & his in-laws. Oh, the back & forth and round & round! Great for putting me to sleep!
