Hero and heroine's relationship is moving along nicely. They have really good chemistry, hot sex, and I like that she's opening up to the possibility of having a real relationship with him. Friend with benefits guy is still visiting, and he's a sweet, nerdy beta type. He's got his own little side romance going on, which is cute. I like that even the minor characters have their own stories.

Finally got to some hot sexytimes. Heroine's a little freaked out by emotional intimacy, tries to get away afterwards. He lets her go, instead of being all possessive and holding her down against her will. There are too many of those guys in romance novels. Glad that Stone's not one of them.

Heroine's friend with benefits came for a visit, and the hero spies them kissing. What does he do? Does he fly off the handle? Does he silently stew in a jealous rage? No, he handles the situation like a perfectly normal, mature human being! Refreshing to see Stone's reaction amid a sea of possessive, controlling men in romance novels.

Haha, I love how she razzes him. These two have got great chemistry together. Heroine's also really cool, I like that she's strong and confident.

And he pretty much passes out at the sight of blood, lol. Props also to the author for having a lesbian couple give birth on the trail. Nice to see LGBT inclusion in straight romance.

It's so ridiculously adorable that the hero is scared of needles.
