Finished the Ellery Queen story. It was a very good story, even though a few bits were far fetched and a bit off kilter.

The Secret Case was interesting until the explanation of the overall plot. It was disappointing, to say the least. I’m finding that the American writers and plots are uninteresting so far; seem far more like TV or big-screen movie ideas.
