Whilst listening to the audiobook which I’m enjoying btw, I’m also perusing peoples goodreads reviews.
Amused and 🙄 at the people downrating it because they ‘don’t care’ about Greens ‘musings’ and personal thoughts - even though this is advertised/blurbed as personal essays of Green.

We probably didn’t know what we were doing thousands of years go as we hunted some large mammals to extinction but we know what we’re doing now. We know how to tread more lightly on the earth. We could choose to use less energy, eat less meat, clear fewer forests and we choose not to. As a result, for many forms of life, humanity IS the apocalypse.
