Okay, yeah, it's getting better. Still not awesome but at least I'm a bit into it.

I was only still reading to learn if one character is a trans girl, as it's been hinted, but the curiosity wasn't enough anymore (really not enjoying the book) and I was just about to give up when, who woudda guessed it?, another character comes out as a lesbian. Big sigh. Guess I'll keep reading for now.
