Unexpected emotions! I feel sad for Preston. 😯

This book has me wrapped around its little finger. Things I'd normally rage about feel authentic to the setting and characters, and therefore not as 'problematic' though at times hard to read. The slow burn realization of what seems to be very complicated sexuality is so well done, I'm hooked anyway.

Oh, wow. This is unexpectedly good. Also I'm into the kink, but maybe that's TMI.

Based on how similar some of the vile bigotry coming out Luke's mouth is to the way I spoke when denying I'm into chicks back in jr. high, I'm gonna take a wild guess he's either an ashamed/confused bi (like I was) or a closet case. You can be better, dude. Let the ocean wash away your shitty behaviour. Preferably soon.
