Honestly I had no desire to read this book for a long time. Now that I am reading it I'm actually quite enjoying it. It's not at all what I expected, and I'm not sure that the story is going to need to be six books long, but for what popular fiction is worth, this is an entertaining read(so far).

The more I read this the more I like it. I don't know why I put it off so long. There are a few things that I don't like about the characters, and there are a few plot holes, but overall it's just an entertaining pulp read.

I am finally giving in and trying this series. It seems to be all the pulp I expected, but fast paced which is nice sometimes (especially when reading multiple books at once). I've been going trough a major YA phase lately, probably because they are easy to read in between studying and homework.
