Also, I like Jake. He’s charismatic and determined. His inner voice reminds me of Caleb Drake in Love me with Lies by Tarryn Fisher. I loved him too. An all round good guy who knows himself and how to get what he wants. If one way doesn’t work he tries something else. Not damaged like some of these antiheroes. Rather, rich and good looking and charming. Hoping he’s a worthy opponent for the battle to come.
