I attended Cardinal Stritch High School in Oregon, Ohio, just outside Toledo. Ground was broke for the new school in September of 1960 (I was not yet 5), and it opened for classes in the fall of 1961. Its first principal, Monsignor Michael J. Walz, had been pastor at my church prior to this assignment. So, because I have too much of a nostalgia bug in my system, I decided to buy this book when I saw it on eBay.
