Just started listening to this on Audible. I believe it's the first time I can say I appreciate listening to this book far more than I might have if I would have chosen to read it. It has me mesmerized. I see why it won the Best Nonfiction Audio book in 2020.

This is a wonderful book on Audible and the only problem for me is that it rips my heart out to see what's happening to our planet. After listening to it awhile, I have to take a long pause and build myself up again. The author has done something very rare, painting a vivid picture of the earth in all its beauty while at the same time mincing no words at how that picture is fast fading.
