My book has come back to me off the hold list! I read it by the river today and just had to smile - there's so much good stuff in here. It makes me determined to get back into "academic" reading.

"The first step is to establish a regulated economy of your time, so that, without interfering with a due attention to business and to health, you may get two clear hours every day for reading of the best kind." He goes on to say this is probably too little, but at least it's doable. This line has inspired me to set aside two hours each night just for books - let's see how it goes! :D

I'm enjoying reading a letter or two each night - an unconventional devotional.

Loving this. Ignoring some outdated things, laughing at others, and highlighting the gems.
