A moment of silence for Alberte, the raccoon 😔 really like how she writes nature, and names the animals. Even though I’m not *quite* sure I understand everything that is going on. It is lovely writing.

Ohhhh, so it’s that kind of book. I actually have read something like this before. Interesting 🤔

Learned a new word “Illeism”. Didn’t realize so many people talked like this main character. She says “Rachel does this” and “Rachael does that” but acknowledges that she is, in fact, Rachel, herself. It’s kind of confusing me. Not sure I’ve read a book like this before, but apparently it’s a thing.

I’m not quite sure how I feel about writers in books yet, I often get confused on what’s actually happening and what’s being written on a page. I hope this book is different.
